Marc Wik
Marc Wik, one of the leaders on the Niles-Centerville of Fremont, Senior (14-16 year olds) Little League All Star team, has been named the Tri-City Voice, Male Athlete of the month for August based on his performance in July.
Wik plays multiple positions, shortstop, second base, left, center, and right field, and occasionally pitches. He is NC’s leadoff hitter, drawing walks, rapping out singles, doubles and triples and then steals bases. In addition, he hits for power, sometimes delivering two home runs in a game.
This fall, Wik will be a senior at Washington High School in Fremont. ...

Lilly Walker-Henry
Tri-City Voice’s Female Athlete of the Month is Lilly Walker-Henry, a 16-year-old student at Washington High School who plays on the varsity girls basketball team as well as track and field.
Lilly and her 13-year-old sister Gracy were the first two girls to start playing in the Centerville Youth Basketball After-School Program on Wednesday afternoons. It was Lilly’s 15-year-old brother Terrence who convinced them to attend a practice, which is held at Centerville Presbyterian Church and coached by former Fremont City Councilman Dominic Dutra.
