-- Beginning on August 20, 2012, South Hayward Parish, in conjunction with the New Bridges Presbyterian Outreach Center, will host a Senior Luncheon every Monday starting at noon. Along with being served nutritious meals that meet the requirements of a senior adult’s diet (low in both sodium and sugar), seniors will also enjoy a chance to socialize with fellow residents of the local Hayward community. This program is open to all seniors, 60 years of age or older with a suggested donation of $3.25. Free preparatory classes for GED exam
HAYWARD, Calif.
-- Beginning on August 20, 2012, South Hayward Parish will sponsor free classes to prepare individuals to take the G.E.D. exam. These classes will be held every Monday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and are geared primarily toward adults who have not graduated from High School. Besides hosting these classes, South Hayward Parish also offers scholarships to provide some assistance for individuals to meet the examination cost.
