Beginning, Tuesday, September 18, 2012, the Fremont Police Department will start its next Citizen's Police Academy Class. The Fremont Police Department is currently accepting applications for the 31st Citizen's Police Academy. The class will be limited to approximately 25 attendees, so don't delay.

There will be one Saturday class on October 13th to accommodate specialized training. Participants learn about police selection and training, internal investigations, criminal law, patrol operations, communications, crime prevention, crime analysis, firearms training, critical incidents, narcotics, gangs, traffic enforcement and much more.
