Troubled by someones drinking?
Submitted By Joyce Pfenning
Do you worry about how much someone drinks? Do you feel like a failure because you canÕt control the drinking? Do you think that if the drinker stopped drinking, your other problems would be solved? Do you feel angry, confused, or depressed most of the time?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, you are invited to join the Fremont/Union City/Newark branch of Al-Anon/Alateen Family Groups at our ÒDay In Al-AnonÓ event on Saturday, September 27 in Fremont. There will be workshops throughout the day on such topics as So You Love An Alcoholic, Men in Al-Anon, My Child is an Alcoholic, Conflict and Resolution, Humor in RecoveryÓ and speakers from Alateen, Alcoholics Anonymous and Al-Anon. The suggested donation of $20 includes lunch and snacks, but no one will be turned away.
Join us for a day of fellowship, recovery, workshops, food, fun and prizes! The doors open at 9 a.m. with registration and Yoga. Workshops are from 10 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. with speakers from 3:30 p.m. to close at 6:30 p.m.
