Run or walk to remember police heroes

Submitted By San Leandro Police Department

The California Police Officers Association (CPOA) is sponsoring a 5k/10k run or walk on Saturday, May 10. This is a family and community oriented memorial run/walk event held annually to honor and remember peace officers who have fallen in the line of duty.

Proceeds benefit charities, including the California chapters of Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.), an organization whose sole mission is to assist with the rebuilding of lives of surviving family members of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty.

Please go to to register. The event includes a 5k, 10k and a kids run. Outback BBQ meal included with each entry. Register by May 3, to receive a t-shirt.
Have fun while supporting a great cause!
