Supervisor Miley appoints Chuck Moore to fair boardÊ

Chuck Moore of Castro Valley, Owner of Pacific Coast Well & Pump and Graceland Equestrian Center, has been appointed to the Board of the Alameda County Agricultural Fair Association by Alameda County Supervisor Nate Miley. As one of the largest non-profit organizations in Northern California, the Fair AssociationÕs 26 Board Members oversee the operations of the Alameda County Fairgrounds which attracts over three million visitors each year.

Moore brings expertise in business, agriculture, and building construction. MooreÕs community involvement includes work with Alameda County Agricultural Board, United States Equestrian Federation, EALI (Eden Area Livability Initiative) Blue Ribbon Steering Committee, and the National Hot Rod Association. ÒAlameda County has a rich agricultural heritage and my wife Peggy and I have always been actively involved in agriculture. My goal is to promote agriculture in our community,Ó says Moore.
