Three times a year, SAVE (Safe Alternatives to Violent Environments) offers a 40 hour Domestic Violence Counselor Training. The training meets state guidelines, and completion of the training certifies you in the state of California as a Domestic Violence Counselor.

ÒThis training is great! I have learned so much about domestic violence. Coming from a Ôwhy doesnÕt she leaveÕ mentality, I now consider all the different factors that affect a victimÕs decision-making.Ó Ð SAVE Volunteer

Training dates are: March 21, 28, April 4, 11, 18, 25, and May 2.

Please note that make-ups will not be available for any missed sessions. Attendance at all sessions is required for certification. The training costs $300.
