Dupuis unanimously appointed director

The Alameda County Board of Supervisors announced the unanimous appointment of Tim Dupuis as the Director of Information Technology and Registrar of Voters effective immediately.
Tim served as Alameda CountyÕs Chief Technology Officer since 2000 and was appointed as the Interim ITD Director and Registrar of Voters in December 2012. Dupuis is credited with developing the CountyÕs first iPhone/iPad and Android applications and for establishing a smart phone-friendly web portal on Alameda CountyÕs award-winning website, acgov.org.
Dupuis replaces Dave Macdonald who retired in 2012 after serving as the CountyÕs Director of Information Technology since 1985 and assuming the joint role of Registrar of Voters in 2006.
