Working Together art exhibit

Submitted By Donald Wilson

Two teachers from Alsion Montessori Middle/High School in Fremont are co-hosting ÒWorking Together,Ó an exhibit at NewPark MallÕs Cultural Corner during the month of January. Maria Grazia Romeo will display her paintings and drawings and Michelle Doyle will present her photographs. Artist works will reflect the four seasons and nature, incorporating a hint of surrealism.

A free workshop, ÒPainting with AcrylicsÓ will be held Saturdays, January 18 and 25. Romeo and Doyle - along with students from RomeoÕs Fine Art class - will also host an opening party on January 12.

The exhibit is free and open to the public. The Cultural Corner, which opened in May 2011, provides exhibit space for the work of local artisans, including painters, sculptors, photographers and digital artists. For more information, visit
