March 5, 2013 > Santacruzan event Santacruzan event Submitted By Madelane Ramos The Filipino Community of St. Joseph/ Old Mission San Jose Church would like to invite interested parishioners/non parishioners to sign up their child/children in the upcoming Santacruzan event to be held on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at St. Joseph Parish/ Old Mission San Jose Church Fremont. Ages 4 - 18 are encouraged to participate. Santacruzan (Holy Cross) is one of the most celebrated religious Filipino traditions in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary and to commemorate the finding of the Holy Cross by Queen Helena and her son, Emperor Constantine.
