November 27, 2012 > Combating hunger Combating hunger Submitted By GOPIO Silicon Valley In an initiative to remove hunger from the local scene, GOPIO Silicon Valley has begun to serve free food to those in need every week at St. James Park in San Jose on Sundays at 12 Noon. The food is donated by Madhuban Indian Cuisine in Sunnyvale. Volunteers are needed to continue this effort. All are welcome to help. St James Park is located at Second and St. James Streets. GOPIO Silicon Valley (Global Organization of People of Indian Origin, Silicon Valley Chapter), is dedicated to the wellbeing of people of Indian origin and enhancing cooperation and communication between all local residents and other countries of the world.
