August 21, 2012 > CASA receives Nancy's Hero Award CASA receives Nancy's Hero Award Submitted By Ginni Ring Alameda County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) has received the 2012 Nancy's Hero Award from Alameda County District Attorney Nancy O'Malley for the agency's commitment and success in advocating for abuse, neglected and abandoned children in the juvenile court system. Each year O'Malley presents this award to individuals and organizations to recognize their exceptional service to the community.
