Fiddler comes to Fremont
Fremont Christian School presents the Tony Award winning musical "Fiddler on the Roof" for one weekend only, May 3 through May 6.
Based on the stories of Sholem Aleichem, "Fiddler on the Roof" is about a poor dairyman named Tevye who tries to teach his five daughters the importance of family and tradition in the face of social change and growing anti-Semitism.
A live orchestra and 122 cast members bring this classic tale of family, difficulty, and hope to life, with enduring musical favorites such as "Matchmaker," "If I Were a Rich Man," and "Sunrise, Sunset."
The production is designed and directed by Darryl Guzman with musical direction by Darryl Guzman, Mary Ellen Brenneis, and Thomas Banuelos, and original choreography reproduced by Vivian Sam.
General seating is $10 and reserved seating $15. Tickets are available at FSC offices and at the door. For more information call (510) 744-2280.
