AARP tax assistance

AARP will offer Free Tax Assistance at the Castro Valley Library every Wednesday, beginning February 1, 2012 through April 11, 2012 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the Learning Center. The program, jointly sponsored by the IRS and AARP, provides trained volunteers to assist with most all U.S. Federal and California State income tax preparation and e-filing.
Appointments are required. The Library is accepting appointments now. You may call the Library Information Desk at (510) 667-7900 during normal open hours, or sign up in person.
The Castro Valley Library is a branch of the Alameda County Library system. The Library is located at 3600 Norbridge Avenue and is wheel chair accessible.
