December 20, 2011 > Newark City Council Newark City Council December 15, 2011 Special meeting was held to consider the method to fill the council vacancy due to the election of Alan Nagy as Mayor. It was decided due to cost and time considerations to follow a pattern - appointment process - used in 2007 to fill a council vacancy.
