Master chocolatier Oscar Baile demonstrates how to temper chocolate and create truffles at a free event at Newark Library on Saturday, December 17 from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Baile, whose chocolates are top award-winners at the Napa and San Francisco Chocolate Salons, learned the art of chocolate in Venezuela, at UC Davis, and the Notter School of Pastry Arts in Florida. He is the owner of Landru Chocolates in Newark, CA.
