On Saturday, July 23, Kidango Cabello Center welcomed Fremont Bank Team Heroes as they installed new planter boxes at the facility. Eight planter boxes were painted, filled with soil, planted with an assortment of plants and decorated with some of the children's artwork. Heroes also cleaned five classrooms of preschool furniture to beautify environments inside classrooms as well.

All tasks were successfully accomplished during the workday and sparkling clean classroom furnishings were ready for the next wave of future Picassos. The finished planter boxes were arranged next to classrooms, each with an assortment of vegetables, herbs and flowers.

On the following Monday, Kidango children were thrilled as they entered the center and were greeted by gleaming wooden chairs, canvas boards and their artwork on, and colorful flowers, vegetables and herb plants in the planter boxes. Kidango grandparent Jessica Sam-Be remarked that not only do the planter boxes liven the Cabello Center, but they also teach children responsibility and how nature can bring delicious and healthy rewards.

Kidango would like to thank Fremont Bank Team Heroes for all their hard work and dedication.
