July 1, 2011 > Crime Free Apartments Crime Free Apartments Submitted By Officer Kim Macdonald, Fremont PD A Crime Free Multi Housing Program for Union City and Fremont rental communities will be held Wednesday, August 24. This free eight-hour course, open to owners, managers and staff, has reduced crime in multi-unit properties. Course Topics include: Crime prevention through environmental design Applicant screening Evictions Police/Management partnerships Drug/Gang warning signs Crime prevention This training session will be conducted at Alameda County Fire Department Station #31 at 33555 Central Ave, Union City on Wednesday, August 24. The training classroom is at the rear of the Fire Station. Class begins at 8 a.m. and ends at approximately 5 p.m. with a lunch break from 12 noon to 1 p.m. All attendees will receive a certificate of completion for the first phase of training in the "Crime Free Multi Housing Program."
