On Saturday, June 25, the Mission Valley Barracudas welcomed the Glenmoor Stingrays to their home pool in an East Bay Swim League regular season dual meet. Before the meet started, the Barracudas shouted their team's cheer with Coach Don, holding their spirit stick. This meet would be another meet full of anxiety and excitement, one which the Barracudas prevailed 626-418.

At this meet, a number of swimmers improved their times. The following swimmers on the Barracudas bested their time by more than three seconds.

In freestyle, Shelby Rich improved her time by 3.38 seconds and Sumeet Sra improved his time by almost five seconds. In backstroke, Victoria Poole took off 3.74 seconds from her time and Leah Martin took off almost four seconds off her time, too. In breaststroke Gabriella Rachal improved her time by more than eight seconds. In butterfly, Hayden Crane took almost twenty seconds off his time. And in individual medley, which is one lap of each stroke, Andrew Leung and Trevor Fung took off three and a half seconds each off their times. Congratulations to all of you.

In the end, the Barracudas were able bring themselves to another win, improving to 4-0 on the season. There will be no meet next week for Independence Day, so the Barracudas look forward to visiting the Seals at American High School in two weeks.
