On Sunday, June 26 at 8:31 p.m., the Union City Police Department received multiple 911 calls reporting shots fired at 657 Whipple Road. When officers arrived, they located a 22-year-old Hispanic male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The Alameda County Fire Department responded and paramedics provided first aid. The victim was transported to a local hospital and underwent surgery for his injuries.
