Central Park Summer Concert Series Kicks Off on June 30

Join Washington Hospital for Family-Friendly Music and Kids Activities

Fremont's Central Park will come alive with the sound of music when the Central Park Summer Concert Series at Lake Elizabeth kicks off on Thursday, June 30. Washington Hospital is the main sponsor of this year's concert series and the event promises something fun for everyone. The series will feature family-friendly music and the popular Kids Fun Zone, complete with arts and crafts, bounce house and interactive games. Each concert is free and open to the public. This year the concert series will feature Chaka's MMM Sauce specialty barbecue to purchase. Concert-goers may also bring their own food.

Fremont Symphony Orchestra's Percussion Quartet "Supercussion" will headline the first concert and play popular tunes ranging from Mozart to Michael Jackson. (See below for upcoming dates and a complete list of bands.) All of the concerts will be held on Thursdays at Central Park's Performance Pavilion over a seven-week period, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Free Popcorn and Prizes
Washington Hospital will stage an information booth each week featuring a variety of programs and services. Attendees are welcome to grab some free popcorn and enjoy a spin of our prize wheel. During the concert's intermissions, one of the members of the Washington Township Health Care District Board of Directors will make an appearance to thank and address the audience.

People attending the festival are encouraged to stop by and visit the Washington Hospital booth to learn more about the Hospital's community services and top-notch medical programs. Hospital representatives from several departments will be available during the concert series to advise members of the community about specific medical services, classes, and resources that are accessible throughout the Washington Hospital Healthcare System.
