Le family hires PI
Submitted By Lt. Roger Keener, Hayward PD
The Le family is desperate to find missing Michelle Le and has hired a private investigator to assist with that goal. The family has expressed its desire to help search actively for Michelle throughout the police investigation. Their vigils, hot line, websites (http://MichelleLeMissing.com), media connection, missing person fliers and recent search parties are concerted efforts to find her.
Hayward Police Department's relationship with the Le family is excellent. The police department and family are working towards a common goal and are in daily contact with each other. The Le family sought advice and support from police investigators before employing a private investigator to be able to add another resource to the search efforts without compromising the police investigation. Hayward PD wholeheartedly supports this decision. While the Le family did not require police investigators' approval or support, conferring with the police department before hiring the private investigator clearly shows that everyone understands the need to work together to achieve a common goal.
The private investigator is not conducting an independent investigation but offering people the opportunity to come forward, anonymously, with information regarding Michelle's disappearance. The reality is that some people, for many reasons, are uncomfortable about talking to the police. This process will enable anyone to provide helpful information that might otherwise go unheard.
If someone has information regarding the disappearance of Michelle Le or knows where she might be, please contact private investigator, Michael Frame, at (925) 837-8309 ext. 33 or by email to Michael@TheFrameGroup.com. Anonymous emails can be sent through the website www.TheFrameGroup.com.
Alternatively, please call the Tip Line for this case at (510) 293-5051.
