A walk on the wild side

Enjoy a "Walk in the Wild" where an Epicurean Escapade featuring more than 90 restaurants, caterers, bakeries, wineries, and breweries meets the wild side of nature. This adult-only event supports the Oakland Zoo's conservation, education, and animal enrichment programs.
Wine, Dine, & Stroll from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. Move to the music of Bay Area artists Steel Jam. Watch the sunset while sampling some of the Bay Area's finest epicurean offerings. Hop aboard the Adventure train through the Zoo's Wild Australia exhibit featuring baby wallaroos and emus. Or experience the views from above by hanging out on the Oakland Zoo's Skyride.
Dancing & Dessert Under the Stars are scheduled from 8 p.m. - 10 p.m. Celebrate into the evening hours with live music, dancing, and decadent desserts. Masterpiece, a collective of Bay Area artists, will perform live with a mix of song favorites including Pop, Soul, Funk, R&B, and Jazz.
