Milpitas Police have arrested 19-year-old San Jose resident David Curtis Ramirez Galvan as a burglary suspect. Galvan was taken into custody near 1100 block of Stardust Way, a home that was recently burglarized.
On Thursday, March 31 at about 3:28 p.m., Milpitas police saw the suspect, carrying a large plastic bag, walking in The Pines, a residential area. Officers followed the subject and noticed him rummaging through the bag, pulling jewelry from it. Due to recent residential burglaries throughout the city involving the theft of jewelry, police detained the suspect for suspicious activity. Property in the subject's bag was found to be linked to the residential burglary on Stardust Way. Galvan was booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail for burglary, possession of stolen property and grand theft.
