April 8, 2011 > Celebrating the voices of women Celebrating the voices of women Submitted By Shirley Gilbert On April 16, the American Association of University Women (AAUW) Fremont Branch invites you to "Women, Yes!" a tribute to the voices of unsung heroic women who have contributed, sacrificed and made a difference in the fight for women's rights. The Women's History Tea and Program will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Fremont Adult School Multi-Use Room, 4700 Calaveras Avenue, Fremont. The theatrical performance will feature actors and narrators from AAUW as well as from the wider Bay Area acting community. A delicious tea menu will be served. Cost is $20 a ticket.
