April 8, 2011 > St. John's remembers veterans St. John's remembers veterans Submitted by Cici Susbilla Photo by Peggy Horyza St. John the Baptist student, Mikayla Horyza (6th grade) together with her grandparents, Lou & Peggy Horyza visited the VA Hospital in Livermore on March 16. They were delivering cards that Ms. Bensi's 7th grade students made for our beloved veterans. Each student made a card with special messages to show them of their love, support, prayers, and to thank them for the sacrifices they've made for our country.
