March 29, 2011 > A Guide to Disaster Preparedness A Guide to Disaster Preparedness The Hayward Fire Department invites the public to a learning experience about personal Disaster Preparedness Preparation from the American Red Cross Wednesday, April 6, from 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Hayward Fire Department Public Education Officer Thor Poulsen, will introduce Eric Herskowitz, Community Preparedness Specialist for the American Red Cross Bay Area Chapter. Attendees will receive free emergency contact cards for each family member, a Ready Booklet and a chance to win items in a free raffle such as a personal disaster kit.
