Clarise Lew, Fremont PD Photos By Courtesy of Fremont Police Department Tip-A-Cop is a joint effort of Police, FBI, California Highway Patrol and sheriff's department personnel to help raise funds for Special Olympics. Officers serve food and drinks and greet customers. Representatives from the Fremont Police Department acted as "guest servers" at Chili's at the Fremont Hub to help raise money for Special Olympics. Donations and t-shirt sales totaled $2,041, the most of any of Chili's in the Bay Area. Proceeds from Tip-A-Cop support young athletes of Special Olympics and the summer games at UC Davis.
