Winter is nearing an end, so it's time to think about what to do once the spring season is upon us. Milpitas Sports Center offers a number of activities to fit your needs.
Do you like playing basketball with your buddies? Why not join the city of Milpitas League. Milpitas Sports Center is accepting registration for Men's D Adult Spring Basketball League from March 21 through 25. League play begins on April 28 and is every Thursday evening. League games are determined by the number of teams. Enjoy the camaraderie, friendly competition and great exercise.
Milpitas Sports Center is now offering Zumba Gold classes on Thursday mornings from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Zumba Gold is inspired by traditional Salsa, Samba and Merengue music and dance steps. This class incorporates easy-to-follow dance moves at a high cardio base for body changing benefits. Reasonable drop-in rates, visit passes and memberships are available to meet your needs.
Sports Center is now offering lunchtime Yoga on Wednesday's and Friday's from noon to 1 p.m. Lunchtime yoga is a flowing yoga class for all levels and abilities. It provides full-body stretching, improves balance, strengthens and detoxifies the body. Reasonable drop-in rates, visit passes and memberships are available to meet your needs.
Do you like playing softball? Milpitas Sports Center is accepting registration for Men's C and Coed D Adult Spring Softball League from March 14 to 18. League play begins the week of May 3; league games are determined by the number of teams.
