March 1, 2011 > Shooting in Newark Shooting in Newark Submitted By Sgt. Mike Carroll, Newark PD Newark Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred on Wednesday afternoon, February 23. An 18-year-old man was shot in his legs. The incident took place in the area of Cedar Boulevard near Lido Boulevard. The victim was immediately taken to the hospital. He is out of danger. This shooting incident is being investigated by the Southern Alameda County Major Crimes Task Force.
