Bruce has been with the Milpitas Fire Department for over twelve years and has long demonstrated a commitment not only to the organization but to community service above and beyond his call of duty. He has been Team Captain for the "Relay for Life" for the past six years. His passion and enthusiasm encourages fellow department members to support the fund-raising walkathon held every year. Brian has taken on additional duties as the lead CPR instructor for the department and readily passes on his rich knowledge and passion for emergency medical service and para-medicine to colleagues. His efforts to provide an excellent education to fellow firefighters will enhance service delivery to the Milpitas community. Brian's roles as a Firefighter/Paramedic and Acting Engineer/Captain have proven that he is a competent, skilled and dedicated professional. He represents the best of "servant leadership" and is guided by three core beliefs: faith, family (including the Milpitas Fire Department family) and friends (including the Milpitas community that he serves).
