February 18, 2011 > Auditions for children's choir Auditions for children's choir The Angel Children's Choir of the Neighborhood Church in Newark is holding auditions for children between the ages of 7 and 13. The choir's goal is to have all members working together as a team creating choral excellence. Training will not only educate members in musicianship but also instill self-discipline, build lasting friendships, and increase self-esteem. The program includes Bible teaching, summer music camp, occasional public performances, musical plays, and more. An instrument group will be added this spring. Choir practices every Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. The instrument class follows from 3:15 p.m.-4:00 p.m. (for selected choir members). All choir members pay a quarterly $35 membership fee.
