Author to speak at Milpitas Library

Submitted By Melanie McInerney

Now in its ninth year, Silicon Valley Reads promotes reading and literacy and builds community by focusing on a single book every February with a month of free activities and discussion. The Milpitas Public Library is proud to have this year's selected author, Michelle Richmond, attend our monthly book group on Wednesday, February 16th at 7:30 p.m. to discuss her book, "The Year of Fog." Whether you have read the book or not, come hear her discuss this novel of family, loss, hope and choices.

This program is free and open to the public. The Milpitas Public Library is located at 160 N. Main St., Milpitas. For more information call the reference desk at (408) 262-1171 ext. 3616 or visit www.siliconvalleyreads.org. Silicon Valley Reads is sponsored in part by the Friends of the Milpitas Library.
