February 1, 2011 > Senior Exemption Waiver approved for Parcel Tax Senior Exemption Waiver approved for Parcel Tax Submitted By Nicole Steward The Fremont Unified School District Board of Education approved the Senior Exemption Waiver at the January 12 board meeting and it is available for the public. The waiver applications are available at every school site, the Fremont Mail Library, the Fremont Senior Center, and are posted on the FUSD website. English, Chinese, and Spanish versions of the waiver are available both in print and on the website. The application can be filled out online at http://www.fremont.k12.ca.us/seniorwaiver and then printed and submitted with supporting documentation. In order to provide access for any eligible senior citizen to obtain a form for the Waiver Exemption from the parcel tax, copies will be available at all locations.
