January 14, 2011 > Cell phone flips pickup Cell phone flips pickup According to Officer Sasser of Fremont Traffic Unit, on Monday, January 10, the driver of a Ford Ranger traveling southbound on Paseo Padre Parkway near Stevenson Boulevard [directly in front of the TCV office] dropped his cell phone and when he reached to retrieve it, veered into a tree causing the pickup truck to overturn. No other vehicles were involved in the accident; the driver was assisted by witnesses (including Tri-City Voice personnel) and did not sustain major injury. Fremont Police a Fire unit and ambulance responded.
