December 24, 2010 > Drug arrest Drug arrest Submitted By Sergeant Daryl Sequeira Photos Courtesy of Milpitas PD The Milpitas Police Department executed a search warrant on Wednesday morning, December 15 at the Extended Stay Hotel, located at 1000 Hill View Court in conjunction with an ongoing drug investigation. Detectives identified the suspect, Lachris Brown, leaving the hotel and took him into custody with the help of the Milpitas SWAT Team. A search was conducted at his hotel room and his legal residence on Calle Oriente Drive, in Milpitas. Milpitas Police located several pounds of marijuana and a substantial amount of cocaine base (crack) and crystal methamphetamine; a combined total of over one pound. At least 100 Hydrocodone pills were confiscated as well. Detectives seized over $6000 U.S. currency and a replica firearm. Lachris Brown was booked into the Santa Clara County Jail for multiple counts associated to drug sales; bail was set at $96,000.00.
