Fremont crime update

Armed Robbery
On Friday, December 10, a strong arm robbery occurred in the area of Sundale and Trinity. Two suspects approached and beat the victims and stole their phone. The victims said they have seen the suspects in the area of the Park Villa Apartments, but did not know their names. Both suspects are described as Black Male adults, 20-years-old; one wearing a red sweater and one wearing a white sweater. Officer Snyder is investigating the case.

Burglary at Walmart
Loss prevention observed a male and a female in the store conceal items on their person and in a baby stroller. Both subjects were arrested for burglary.

Assault with a deadly weapon at the Huddle. Caller witnessed a male get hit with a bottle in the bar. The victim confronted a rowdy patron and tried to calm him down. The suspect punched the victim and then hit the victim with a bottle.

Attempt Murder
On Saturday, December 11, a male victim was shot once at Washington Boulevard. He was taken to local trauma center and is in critical condition but is expected to survive his injuries. The investigation is on-going. Police spotted the possible suspect vehicle and its three occupants were detained. The suspect was not in the vehicle and the gun has not been located.
