December 14, 2010 > Bank robbery attempt foiled by clerk Bank robbery attempt foiled by clerk Submitted By Detective Bill Veteran, Fremont PD Two Black male adults in their mid-twenties approached the front doors of the East/West Bank located on Stevenson Boulevard intending to rob it. An alert clerk hit the automatic door locks, and foiled their attempt by locking the suspects out. The incident was reported on Thursday, December 9. The suspects ran off westbound on Stevenson Boulevard. According to Fremont Police they wore hoodies and latex gloves.
