December 14, 2010 > Holiday grants announced Holiday grants announced Submitted By Kyleigh Kent Fremont Bank Foundation, a philanthropic arm of the Bay Area's Fremont Bank, recently announced the recipients of their fifth annual holiday grant program. Each November, the Fremont Bank Foundation awards 25 nonprofit organizations with $1,000 each. The funding will help the organizations provide food and basic necessities to a greater number of individuals and families in the Bay Area. "Fremont Bank Foundation is proud to support these worthy organizations and to help in their efforts to provide meals and important services to our neighbors," says Hattie Hyman Hughes, president of Fremont Bank Foundation. "The need is greater than ever this year, and we are happy to help make the holidays a bit brighter for families in our communities."
