Submitted By Wei-Lin Tong
Are you interested in giving your child a solid public education and language proficiency in both English and Chinese (Mandarin)? If yes, please attend an informational meeting on December 13.
The Fremont Unified School District is sponsoring an informational session for its Chinese (Mandarin) Immersion Program, which will be building on its Kindergarten success this year, to enroll two Kindergarten and two 1st grade classes in Fall 2011.
The immersion approach is a proven, effective method of providing children with a well-rounded, academically excellent education and full mastery of both English and any target language. Come join us for this informational meeting to learn more about the Chinese Immersion Program from District staff and parents, including enrollment timeframe and the process.
Chinese Immersion Program meeting: Monday, December 13 6 p.m. Azevada Elementary School, Multi-purpose room 39450 Royal Palm Drive, Fremont (510) 657-3900 (Azevada)
