(AP), Nov 13 - Deputies say a Birmingham woman accepted a collect call from her boyfriend while he was in jail - and allegedly paid for it with a stolen credit card number. Randy Christian, chief deputy with the Jefferson County Sheriff's office, says the woman had stolen the credit card information from a former roommate. The roommate recognized the woman's voice from a recording of the call, and she was subsequently charged with fraud. Christian says all that made the woman easy to catch, telling The Birmingham News, ``that's just making it too easy for us. Just brilliant.''
