October 22, 2010 > Chabot wins one at Nor Cal Duals Chabot wins one at Nor Cal Duals Submitted By Steve Siroy, Chabot wrestling coach Chabot College men's wrestling team took part in the Northern California Duals on Saturday, Oct. 16 in Santa Rosa. In four matches, Chabot compiled a 1-3 record. In the first round Chabot College lost to Fresno City College by a score of 46-0. In the second round, Chabot wrestled against San Joaquin Delta College and defeated them by a score of 28-14. Winners for Chabot were Sabrina Ross (125 lbs.), Janik Santana (141), Alex Zonio (165) and Ira Goosby (174). In the third round Chabot lost against Santa Rosa Junior College by a score of 33-13. Winners for Chabot were Santana, Alex Williams (133), Craig Sherman (165) and Milo Anderson (184). In the fourth and final round Chabot lost against Shasta College by a score of 27-19. Winners for Chabot were Ross, Sherman, Goosby and Anderson. Chabot took on Skyline College on Wednesday, Oct. 20, in the Chabot College main gym (results unavailable at press).
