PawTober Fest

October is a month of celebration. The season changes and everyone, including our animal companions prepare for winter festivities. Oktoberfests offer companionship around the world but in Fremont, its time for Pawtober Fest at the Fremont Animal Hospital.

Amazing "Frisbee" dogs, music, BBQ and children's activities (face painting, balloon tying, bounce house) combine with informational talks on pet-related topics and hospital tours. This fundraiser to benefit Tri-City Animal Shelter will offer a showplace for pets in need of homes on site and available for adoption.

The first twelve dog owners and first twelve cat owners to purchase a raffle ticket ($2) on the day of the event will receive a free, same-day, on-site comprehensive blood screening for their pet (limit 1 screening per family).

Donations for shelter pets will be accepted; prize raffle, and silent auction for several high-value prizes; direct donations of goods and supplies for Tri-City Shelter will also be accepted.

In addition, Toys for Tots U.S. Marines will be on site to accept donations for the Marine Corps' Toys for Tots program.
