September 28, 2010 > Native American Pow Wow Native American Pow Wow Treasure Island will be the setting for The Native American Health Center Pow Wow scheduled for Saturday, October 2 and Sunday, October 3, 2010. Grand Entries will be held at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. on Sunday. The pow wow will feature dance contests for all ages including adults, teens and juniors; team competition and a hand drum contest. Pow Wow officials include: Master of Ceremonies Earl Neconie; Arena Director Randy Shirley; Head Man Pierre Halsey; Head Woman Aurora Mamea; Host Northern All Nations; Host Southern Wild Band of Comanches; Head Judge Smoke Johnson and Honor Guard Raul Valerio.
