Milpitas Police are looking for a man who stole merchandise from a store in Great Mall early this month. The suspect is described as a 15 year-old Hispanic male. Two other suspects linked to the theft have been arrested; 23-year-old Hayward resident Pablo Bustamante Burruez and a 17 year-old San Diego resident were arrested for possession of stolen property.
According to an employee of the store, three suspects exited the store with what appeared to be a "booster" bag used to conceal property and defeat security sensors. The Suspect vehicle, a grey colored 2001 Volkswagen Jetta, was located in the area of the Great Mall.
According to Sgt. Daryl Sequeira, Milpitas PD, over $10,000 of stolen merchandise from five different retail clothing stores was retrieved. Clothing with tags and sensors attached were also found in the vehicle. Both suspects have been booked into the Santa Clara County Jail for possession of stolen property.
