Firefighters from the Fremont Fire Department are participating in the "Fill the Boot" fundraising campaign that benefits the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA), an organization dedicated to finding a cure for muscular dystrophy, ALS, as well as other related diseases. Firefighters will be at the corner of Fremont Blvd. and Mowry Ave. collecting donations from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
