`Toy Story 3' to break another record for Disney

Submitted By AP Wire Service

LOS ANGELES (AP), Aug 27 - ``Toy Story 3'' is about to set another box office record for The Walt Disney Co.

The company says the third movie in the Pixar series will pass $1 billion in worldwide ticket sales today (Friday).

``Toy Story 3'' reunites cowboy Woody, space ranger Buzz Lightyear and the toys' owner, Andy.

Counted with ``Alice in Wonderland,'' it will be the second movie to pass the billion-dollar mark for Disney this year.

It also will make The Walt Disney Studios the only studio in history to have released two billion-dollar-plus movies in a single year.

``Toy Story 3'' has become Disney's third-biggest movie ever and is the best-grossing animated film of all time.
