Miss Cougar East Bay
Cougars are invited to compete for the title of "Miss Cougar East Bay," on Friday, September 3, in Newark. "Millions of midlife women have discovered that the pickings are slim among men their own age," says Rich Gosse, who will speak at the event. "Middle-aged men are in short supply, due to a higher death rate, and also because they typically date women many years their junior. Midlife women must date younger men, or often not date at all."
The high point of this event will be the crowning of "Miss Cougar East Bay" at 11 p.m. The winner will be a woman who is legally single and at least 35 years of age. She will be selected by the Cubs (younger men) in attendance, and be awarded a free berth on the International Cougar Cruise, December 3-6 to the Bahamas.
Adult Cougars and Cubs of all ages are welcome; dressy nightclub attire is requested. Tickets are $20 at the door.
