Entering your artwork to an upcoming show? Need help evaluating your work? Fremont Art Association (FAA) is featuring guest artist Jan Schafir who can help evaluate your artwork. She will also coach you on how to critique works of art in a positive and fun way.
Schafir is an accomplished artist and art teacher with an extensive background, and has taught many students how to analyze art effectively over the years. She owns an art studio in Fremont where she teaches weekly classes in watercolor and mixed media, and workshops in drawing and gouache. Schafir has been a long-time member of the FAA, past president several times, and is currently the program chairperson for the association's monthly meetings. Jan has taught at the La Romita School of Art, a workshop in France, and has been teaching on cruise ships for the past four years.
Any medium of work is welcome for evaluation. They do not have to be framed, but matted work presents better. Schafir looks forward to seeing all of you at the meeting. You will not only benefit from her critique, but will also have a delightful evening because of her enthusiasm and expertise in art.
