August 17, 2010 > Free photo lesson Free photo lesson Submitted By Sachie Johns Join the Fremont Art Association's The Third Saturday (S3) Photography Group for a fun day out on Main Street in Niles. The event will coincide with the Hot August Car Show, offering a choice of over 300 superb cars to photograph. Award-winning photographer, Jacline Deridder, will provide this free on-site lesson. Please meet promptly at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 21 at the FAA Gallery. For new participants, Jacline will re-cap the basics. For repeaters, she will re-build new challenges. Please bring your camera, tripod, polarizing filter, hat, and sunscreen. The S3 group is a free street level art outreach program sponsored by the Fremont Art Association and Cooksey-Talbott Gallery. The group offers a variety of photographic educational opportunities and field trips, headed by award-winning local photographer Cooksey-Talbott and assisted by Jacline Deridder. The S3 activities are held on the third Saturday of each month and are open to all who are interested in making photographs and having a good time. Programs range in complexity from beginner to advanced. A Release of Liability is required of all participants. The group strives to offer events of interest to a wide range of photographers, so please feel welcome to come and participate.
